Whilst the season lasts we get our mangoes from Europe but over winter we usually have to look further afield - be assured they will always be grown to the exacting standards organic certification.
Deliciously sweet mango is perfect for fruit salads, smoothies and salads - it is also great made into mango chutney for alongside a hot curry.
How do you know when your mango is ready to eat? It should be fragrant and if it yields slightly on the ends under firm pressure you are good to go. If you are wanting to make a mango chutney though, a hard, under-ripe mango is ideal.
